Regular Operation features
water circulating from the main tank via the water cycling device to
the recirculating tank. An even and constant stream of gravity-fed water
then flows through the UV Filter to the patient at approximately 1 p.s.i..
(NOTE: Municipal water supplies generally flow at a rate of 60 or more
p.s.i..)
Valve Sequence A:
Open Valves #6 and #8 (#9 and #10 were set in OPEN position when System
was set up and should be left
OPEN always unless System plumbing maintenance requires otherwise).
Valves #3, #4, #5, and #7 are closed.
Then open Valve #1 and turn on and adjust Water Mixing Valve to fill
tank with water between 99 to 103 degrees
Fahrenheit (approximately 37 - 39 C.).
Close Valve #1 OR shut off Water Mixing Valve to stop water to main
tank at any level. However, water level
inside main tank shuts off automatically by Tank Level Valve once level
has reached top (about 8 gallons or 32 L).
Once full, close #1 and/or turn off Water Mixing Valve. As water is
needed in tank, open #1 and/or turn
on Water Mixing Valve to refill tank during session to prevent fluctuations
in water temperature.
Procedure for Conducting Colonic Session
The following is the sequence of steps for conducting a successful
colon hydrotherapy session using the
Angel of Water® CM-1 Surround.
Conduct Actual Session
1. Greetings/Qualifying Evaluation • Prescription
on file from licensed practitioner
• Health intake forms properly filled out
• Assessment for contraindications
2. Presentation of the System • Explain that
this is going to be a “reclining chair experience.”
Then explain System features:
• Path of water, carbon and UV filters, tank volume
• Temperature range, averages 1 p.s.i., FLOW function
• Show lubricant and sterilized nozzle
3. Instructions to Patient before • Say “I
am going to leave the room.”
Session Begins You will:
• Remove lower garments
• Recline on basin and drape yourself modestly
• Page practitioner with call button
4. Session Begins • Handle the unexpected
• Monitor for safety
5. Client Instructions at the End-- • Slide
off nozzle immediately after water stops (FLOW switch(es) turned off)
Have the Client: • Drain effectively
• Rinse with personal sprayer
• Towel themselves dry
• Put waste paper in waste receptacle only
6. Recap for Best Results-- • Discuss follow-up
